Nowhere is that more evident than in the extraordinary bathrooms. Riluxa was appointed to supply the majority of the bathroom elements across the project, collaborating closely with the design team to support the wider architectural vision.

This progression gives the home a townhouse-like quality. There is separation, privacy and flow that belies its position above one of Mayfair’s most recognisable shopping streets. It feels intentional.

A Poliform kitchen and Miele appliances anchor the main living space, their precision acting as a natural counterpart to the richness around them. Across the apartment, materials are used not just for contrast, but to create continuity between spaces, giving the interiors a strong and coherent identity.

In the principal suite, the Gaia vanity unit in Corian Witch Hazel introduces both scale and movement through its marble-like veining. Its generous proportions give it the presence of a carved block rather than fitted furniture, holding its own against expanses of marble and travertine. Paired with Riluxa’s Biham bath in matte stone resin, the atmosphere is contemporary yet indulgent.

The second ensuite embraces a more dramatic mood. A two-drawer Gaia vanity in Cosmos Prima brings depth and contrast through its bold white veining. And set beneath a long, illuminated niche within the marble wall, our black and white Toulouse bath becomes a striking focal point, its oval silhouette framed by warm light and gold fittings.

In the guest bathroom, the Sepia Linear basin offers a quieter note. Its horizontal detailing echoes the surrounding stone, tying the elements together without competing for attention.

Across all three bathrooms, material and form are used consistently, giving each space a clear identity while maintaining continuity throughout the apartment.

At number 52, The Door UK contributes its own layer to that story. The façade remains anchored in its period setting, while the interiors speak a distinctly contemporary language. This is Mayfair interpreted with confidence – rooted in heritage, yet unmistakably modern.

Riluxa has worked with The Door UK on previous developments, including Woodredon House and Bushett Rise in Essex – prestigious residential conversions that combine historic architecture with contemporary design. That shared commitment to material quality and thoughtful design makes the collaboration at South Molton Street feel entirely natural.

Here, the bathrooms are not afterthoughts but integral parts of the architecture, where material, proportion and finish are considered with the same care as the spaces themselves. The result is a home with presence – layered, confident and quietly grand.
